
As this is a family winery Castillo de Mendoza counts on a small number of people, but all aware and committed with the quality policy of the company.
The winery counts on the oenologist, responsible for the vineyards and the winery. Then there are people in charge of production. To work the land there are permanent agricultural laborers who follow the vine farming family tradition in the area of Sonsierra. A group of people is temporarily hired to collect the grapes and do other specific jobs in the vineyard. An advisor specialized in oenology and viticulture matters has recently joined the technical team.
In Castillo the Mendoza the women´s work is very important to elaborate the wine. The wine world is one of sensitivity and so the wine must be elaborated using the senses. Women are better at this and for this reason most of the staff in the winery are women.
